But that's not just the medie IMO. Even here it seems that every week someone wants to start a new thread on which league is the best in the world, which team is the best, and more ludicrously what player is the best...
If Watford and Blackburn played in the final everyone would be saying, oh in England there's no quality look who's in the final. Or the view would be that the FA cup doesn't have the same value as it did because the big teams didn't want to win it...
At the moment the PL is the richest and one of the most exciting leagues in the world. However it is on a very thin knife edge at the moment and the greed of the decision makers might just take it over the top and tumble down into mediocracy...
Just look at the ticket prices for the semi finals and the half empty stadiums...crazy.
