Hearts are set to find out on Wednesday how much compensation Wigan must pay for signing defender Andy Webster.
Webster left in September, exploiting a Fifa loophole that allowed him to leave in the third year of a four-year deal.

While Fifa should inform the clubs of their decision on Wednesday, details may not be made public immediately.

"The communication of this decision needs to be formally written in legal terms," said a Fifa spokesman. "This takes some time, usually several days."

After making just four starts and one substitute appearance for Wigan, Webster moved to Rangers on loan in January.

However, injury has prevented the 24-year-old from playing at Ibrox so far.

Despite the setback, Rangers are keen on making the transfer permanent - a move which is sure to anger Hearts.

In order to leave Hearts, Webster had to give appropriate notice and join a club in a different country.

The Edinburgh club are demanding £5m for the player capped 22 times but Fifa's verdict is only likely to cover the amount due to Webster in wages in the final year of his contract.
