Valencia have opened talks with Osasuna about Raul Garcia, according to reports in Spain.
The midfielder was linked with Chelsea after breaking into the Osasuna side last season and he has continued to catch the eye this term.
Valencia were turned off by a valuation of €15million (£10.3million) last summer but Osasuna are now believed to be ready to negotiate.
Garcia is contracted to the Reyno de Navarra until June 2009 but speculation suggests Osasuna are keen to cash in this summer.
Valencia may face competition for Garcia's signature from Atletico Madrid.
