The three young players who made their first team debuts in the last fortnight are all involved in tonight's game as Chelsea Reserves play their first competitive fixture of 2007.
Fresh from being summoned from the subs' bench by José Mourinho in the last three games, Ben Sahar (pictured) will lead the reserves' strikeforce against Tottenham in a game to be held at Stevenage Borough.
Alongside the 17-year-old Israeli will be Scott Sinclair who took his first team bow against Wycombe last Wednesday.
Michael Woods, who tasted action against Macclesfield in the FA Cup, is on the bench.
Six of tonight's team played in the youth team's disappointing FA Youth Cup defeat at Liverpool on Saturday so have an early chance to put in an improved display.
The six include left-back Ryan Bertrand who, along with on-loan Michael Mancienne, was selected today for England Under 19s' forthcoming fixture against Poland.
Chelsea's second string currently lie in second place in the Premiership Reserve League South, one place behind last season's champions Tottenham but with a game in hand.
The north Londoners are on an unbeaten run that stretches back 11 months.
A win tonight and Chelsea could level on points with current league leaders Reading.
The Chelsea line-up tonight is:
Yves Ma Kalambay, Sam Hutchinson, Harry Worley, Jack Cork (c), Ryan Bertrand, Phil Younghusband, Liam Bridcutt, Ricardo Fernandes, Fabio Ferreira, Ben Sahar, Scott Sinclair.
Subs: James Russell, Jonas Elmer, Michael Woods, Miroslav Stoch, Shaun Cummings.
The game is at Stevenage Borough's Broadhall Way ground, kicking-off at 7pm.
There is full live coverage on Chelsea TV. The broadcast starts at 6.45pm with Kerry Dixon providing expert analysis from the studio.
Kerry will be staying on for a Live from Stamford Bridge phone-in from 9.15pm when he will be taking calls and emails on the reserve game, the first team's win against Wigan and all matters currently affecting Chelsea.
