Hull manager Phil Parkinson came in for criticism following his team's abject 5-1 defeat at former club Colchester in midweek.

Parkinson could chop and change his starting line-up in a bid to revitalise the second from bottom club - Nick Barmby, Ryan France and Andy Dawson could come into the starting XI, but Michael Bridges (back), Jon Parkin (ankle) and Sam Collins (knee) are out.

Counterpart George Burley has fewer selections issues, with Wednesday's action-packed win over Birmingham confirming Saints' play-off credentials.

The visitors are unlikely to show many changes from the team that beat Blues, though David Prutton is in the team's squad for the first time since undergoing an ankle operation in August.
