Its tracking the goals, not the goal ratio.

btw Pauleta did not play double the amount of games than eusebio.

Pauleta - 80 games
Eusebio - 64 games

64 + 64 is 128 that would be Double the games.
thats a long way from 80.

But still Eusebio played less games
but more importantly he playes against mostly better teams and got more important goals - 9 in the 66 World cup!!! and led qualification to 66 world cup including two wondergoals against Turkey and Czechoslovakia.

The scoring record doesnt mean crap
everyone knows that Eusebio was a greater player than Pauleta and Eusebio is a all-time legend.

but Pauleta is a good player in his own right, but really if he wants to go down in history as somethign more than just a record for "top scorer for Portugal" he will need to have a big performance this World cup and score some goals which he didnt do at Euro- this is the best way to be remembered as.

I hope Pauleta can make up for Euro 2004 this summer with some key goals.
