Fiorentina are thought to be closing in on the signing of Lazio midfielder Fabio Liverani.

Liverani is considering his future with his contract at Lazio due to expire at the end of the season.

Fiorentina are believed to be leading the chase for Liverani's signature as they look to lure him to the Artemio Franchi.
