Germany routs Portugal 13-0 in women's soccer

REUTLINGEN, Germany (AP) -- In their first game since winning the World Cup, the German women routed Portugal 13-0 Saturday in a Euro 2004 qualifier.
Germany scored 10 goals in the second half in recording the biggest victory in team history.
Birgit Prinz led the World Cup champions with four goals. Germany is 4-0 in its group qualifiers, with a goal difference of 25-1.
Germany won its first World Cup title in October, beating Sweden in the final. In qualifying for the World Cup, the Germans twice beat Portugal by big margins, 9-0 and 8-0.
