I agree Paddington, ManU and Arsenal ae definatly in periods of decline, albeit slight in Uniteds case...
Uniteds Midfield is either aging (GIGGS, SCHOLES) or not worthy of the shirt (SMITH, FLETCHER), their defence is solid with Ferdinand, Neville and Heinze in it but with cover the likes of O'Shea, Brown and most recently Sivestre letting them down things aren't that great...
The goal is only in safe hands for another season or 2 at tops by VDS... The real decent area of United right now is up front with Rooney and VNR, but take either out through injury and the cover of Saha or the aging Ole-GS doesn't have me too excited. United are fragile...
As far as Arsenal goes, Vieira's gone and the hole is still very evident, they've barely got any bite... Henry might well be off, we'll see... and of the players of the great recent past are left, the aging Bergkamp, the tired looking Pires, the injury prone Campbell etc... The more recent new blood isn't of the same quality IMO, Reyes still doesn't warrant his price, Fabregas needs more time to grow as does Van handbag who not only has temper issues but fades in and out of games... They are not the threat they once were and will take at least 4 years to get back to where they were...
