Taken from the Wolves website:

Wolves have signed Tottenham defender/midfielder Tom Huddlestone on a one-month loan.

The 18-year-old, who has yet to make his first team debut at White Hart Lane, joined the north London club from Derby County for an undisclosed fee last July.

Nottingham-born Huddlestone first played for the Rams at the age of just 16 years and last season he appeared in all but two of Derby's first-team games.

His appearances included a 45 minute substitute outing at Molineux and the full game against Wolves at Pride Park.

He has appeared for England from under 15s through to the under 19s and last February he made his debut at under 21 level.

Boss Glenn Hoddle said: "He's a very good young player who we have seen in action for Derby and England under 21s.

"He needs to be out on loan because he's not getting any football at Tottenham at the moment. He can play centre-half or midfield so it's good that he can give us some options.

"He's an excellent passer of the ball and I just feel that at the moment we need a bit of presence in midfield on the defensive side."

Tom will be available for the five games up to and including the home meeting with Sheffield United on 22 November.

Goods news in my opinion cos central defence/midfield are two positions we need strengthening in. Thoughts?
