Eriksson completely changed the way the national team plays, if you want to go back to the days of Hoddle and Keegan then fine, call for him to be sacked but for me it's a much more professional establishment than after Euro 2000. England always expects but at leas they have a right to at the moment, why anyone thought we were going to win ANYTHING in 98 and 2000 I will never understand because we had a shockingly badly run team.
BTW in my opinion Beckham was one of the most comitted and best players for England tonight, as they pointed out on MOTD Cole just looked like he could not be arsed and if he played like that in a qualifier he'd be dropped. Why we're mentioning James is beyond me, if I was him I'd be so ****ing embarassed of my 'career' I'd reject the call-ups. His excuses were just humiliating.
