Lieweke also said the newly formed company will work toward adding a second MLS team in the area, as well as working with MLS on hosting international exhibition matches.
"I think you will see us make a legitimate attempt to look at developing anther team and maybe another stadium at some point in the future in the New York area," said Lieweke.
