Boavista got a total different team then the one the played a friendly with the Metrostars on Portuguese day, Jaime Pacheco rebuild the team with own grown at the club, 9 players are unknow to everybody most come from the Boavista youth team, at the moment they are one point out of the leaders
these year is the year of the Portuguese rookies, taken many position from Brazilian players not seeing in the last 10 years

Carlos, Nélson, André Barreto e Diogo Valente: quatro nomes praticamente desconhecidos há meio ano mas que agora despontam na SuperLiga. Chegaram todos da Liga de Honra no último defeso, Jaime Pacheco não teve receio em lançá-los e agora o Boavista colhe os frutos. A estes podem ainda juntar-se João Pedro (formado no clube, tal como Diogo Valente), Milhazes, Hélder Rosário e Cadú, como base de um projecto para o futuro que está a surpreender até os mais optimistas
