Mattis joins Bury
Midfielder Dwayne Mattis has left Huddersfield to join League Two side Bury.
The 22-year-old Ireland Under-21 international, who joined the Terriers in 1998, has moved to Gigg Lane on a free transfer after agreeing a one-year deal.
Mattis made just six appearances for Town last season and Shakers boss Graham Barrow is delighted with his new signing.
He said: "I'm delighted that Dwayne has chosen to come to us, he had three other offers from Division Three clubs, but he chose us.
"He's a different type of midfield player to what we have and played a lot of games under three managers at Huddersfield."
