mourinho uses three basic formation his entire time here depending on the situation and team he was playing
his favorite was a 4-3-3 but when trying to hold a lead this quickly becomes a 4-5-1
if the wingers aren't aviable for a 4-3-3 he swithes to a 4-4-2 and plays a straight forward game used alot also when he's holding a lead in the second game.
however if he has the players he want, his favorite is a 4-1-2-1-2
four at the back a DM, a RM and LM, a CAM and 2 strikers. The right and left back will push up so far as they play as LW and RW during attacking possessions
