Default got to love the youth movement everywhere.

I truely believe soccer here in the US will be as big as the rest some day. The Youth clubs around my area are growing in leaps and bounds. My sons club has gone from 3 teams to 11 for 2004/05.

Americans are getting noticed everywhere.

Manchester United completed the signing of promising American teenage defender Jonathan Spector from Chicago Sockers in the summer of 2003.

Born on 3 January 1986, Jon is a regular in the United States Under-17 side and follows in the footsteps of Jovan Kirovski and John Thorrington as Americans who began their professional careers with United.

Jon also had offers from colleges in America, but decided to try his luck in England, with the lure of playing in the Premiership too great to turn down.
